 Lake
of the Woods is an anglers paradise, covering over 5000 square miles,
and surrounding more than 14,000 islands. Fisherman can choose secluded
sheltered island fishing, or the challenging trophy waters of Minnesota.
Walleye has historically been the most sought after fish,
but Lake of the Woods has world class Muskellunge and Smallmouth
Bass fishing too.
Our guides are licensed captains, exceptional fisherman, and
pride themselves on their ability to find the fish. They are
also excellent cooks and will prepare for you a shore lunch you
will never forget. |

If
you prefer to head out on your own, we have excellent quality
lake charts available in our convenience store. They are designed
for navigation, and are the best available. We also have plenty
of advice to share with you. We'll try to help you out as much
as possible. Keep
in mind Lake of the Woods is a very large lake, with many islands
that can all look the same. If you are at all unsure of your
map reading abilities, or orienteering skills, we recommend taking
out a guide for a day, then trying it out on your own - when
you have seen some of the lake. We can have great fishing right
near the resort, depending on the time of year.
