 We
boast 6 immaculate cottages, all along Pine Creek. They are designed
for relaxing with deck, satellite TV and a well equipped kitchen.
Our two, three, and four bedroom cabins have two comfortable
twin beds in each bedroom.
 The
convenience store stocks some dairy items, ice, caps, t-shirts, snacks,
maps, bait, and some tackle.
We also have an adjacent campground with 32 grassy sites, open from Memorial
Day thru October 1st. Currently there are 5 sites available for transient
campers, with the rest reserved by seasonal campers. Every campsite
comes with a dock slip, if needed, and has water and electrical hook-up. There is a shower house, a large
gazebo for picnicking in inclement weather, and a central sanitary waste
station.
What there isn't a lot of at Jake's is traffic - our campground is
quiet! |

Jake's is looking for a couple to help
us this summer...
Compensation includes:
• Campsite, dock slip with electricity
• Store discount
• Free use of rental boat when available
• Hourly wage
Hourse worked would average about 20 hours/week
Qualifications:
• Both must be able-bodied and have good people skills
• Some lifting is required
Duties for the man would include:
• Manning the docks - selling gas and bait, cleaning and
servicing the rental boats and bagging ice
• Yard and resort maintenance - garbage disposal, maintaining
the fish cleaning house
Duties for the woman would include:
• Cleaning cabins
• Shower house maintenance
This is an ideal situation for
an active couple who enjoys great fishing, birding, photography,
and has an interest in exploring the island section of Lake of
the Woods. |
